Nelly Karim – Actress
Nelly Karim is an Egyptian actress, fashion model and ballerina. She won Best Actress award in the Cairo International Film Festival for her role in “Enta Omry” (2004). She also won Jury Grand Prize at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards and Best Actress at the Arab Film Festival for her role in “678” (2010). She has been celebrated for her roles in “Alzheimer’s” (2010), “The Blue Elephant” (2014), and “Clash” (2016), which was the opening film for the ‘Un Certain Regarde’ section at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017. In all she appeared in over 25 Egyptian films and TV series. In 2016 she served as jury member for the Horizons section at the 73rd edition of the Venice Film Festival.
