John Attia – Sound Instructor
John is a filmmaker/music producer from Cairo, Egypt and a graduate of Rome International Film School. During his studies John worked as an audio recordist on most of the student films that were produced in the academic year and conducted practical lessons in sound for 2022 summer school students and the one year program in 2022/23. Prior to joining RIFS, John worked as an electronic music producer and collaborated with and produced music for labels including System Recordings USA and Deep Bear Recordings Brazil.
John wrote, directed and produced several films in Egypt and Italy, including Those Who Don’t Jump, Grey, and The Man who Broke the Dish, and has seen his films win in a number of festivals and feature in others.
