Ronald Shusett – Screenwriter/Producer

Ron Shusett is a pre-eminent writer and producer of science fiction films. He wrote the original story for “Alien” (1979) and produced the film that led to a franchise of “Alien” sequels.   In 1974, he optioned the Philip K. Dick short story, “We Can Remember It for You Wholesale“, that became the basis of the script he then wrote and produced “Total Recall“. He was the developing writer and an executive producer of Steven Spielberg’s “Minority Report”, and is credited as a writer or producer on the 2012 remake of “Total Recall”, “Prometheus”, “Alien vs. Predator”, “Batman: Dead End”, “Alien: Resurrection”, “Freejack”, “Atto di Forza”, “Above the Law”, “King Kong Lives”, “Aliens”, “Dead and Buried” and “W”.
