Mary Elizabeth Vogt, Costume Designer
After earning a degree from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, Mary Elizabeth Vogt continued her studies at the Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena, California.
On David Lynch’s epic, DUNE, legendary designer Bob Ringwood (EXCALIBUR) hired her and she spent a very valuable year working in Mexico City at Churubusco Studios. A few years later, Ringwood asked Mary to be his co-designer on Tim Burton’s BATMAN RETURNS. Michelle Pfeiffer’s iconic Cat Woman outfit was one of the many famous pieces that came from that collaboration.
