
RIFS is in post-production currently on the LIMITED TV SERIES entitled "REGINA DI BASTONI" ("QUEEN OF WANDS").
This series in 4 episodes, employing top graduates from RIFS, with funding from private equity investors and using the resources and relationships RIFS has cultivated in the Roman professional cinema world is now in post-production.
The production offered opportunities to a number of RIFS grads from recent years. The four 55 minute episodes were written by four RIFS alumna - Lia Taverneau, Sofia Busquets, Nicole Katzew and Elena Falvella Capodaglio, together with RIFS director Carl Haber, who is serving as show-runner. The four episodes were directed by Nicole Katzew, Lia Taverneau, Sofia Busquets and Carl Haber. The director of photography is RIFS alum Daniel Molina Bonilla, with RIFS grad Remo Schwarz as an AC, and and fellow grads Alexandra Kami, Charlotte Boesch and Renata Leiva working in the Art Department.
A story set in modern day Italy dealing with the issue of misogyny, the series stars Maria Grazia Cucinotta, Maurizio Lombardi, Sofia Iacuitto, and Antonia Fotaras, among many other notable names in today's Italian film world.
Principal photography ran from March through May, shooting in Rome and Bolsena, and is now being edited by film and TV veteran editor Fabio Nunziata.
